Camera Care+ is optional monthly protection for your Colitt Underwater Fishing Camera.
It is designed to give you extra support if the most exposed parts of your camera kit fail from normal use.
Camera Care+ is not insurance. It does not replace your rights under Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law.
What Camera Care+ Covers
Camera Care+ covers normal-use failure of the following parts:
- Screen / monitor
- Camera head
- 100 ft cable
- Charger
Normal-use failure means the part stops working during ordinary use of the camera, when the product has been used, charged, stored, and cared for in a reasonable way.
What Is Not Covered
Camera Care+ does not cover:
- Lost or stolen products
- Intentional damage
- Misuse, neglect, or abuse
- Damage from using the product in a way it was not designed for
- Commercial, rental, or resale use
- Cosmetic marks, scratches, or wear that do not affect normal use
- Water visibility issues caused by mud, algae, low light, weather, or local water conditions
- Any product that is not the Colitt Underwater Fishing Camera
- Claims made after Camera Care+ has been cancelled or is no longer active
Billing
Camera Care+ costs $5.95 per month.
Your first monthly charge is paid at checkout with your camera order. After that, you will be billed monthly until you cancel.
One Camera Care+ plan covers one Colitt Underwater Fishing Camera kit. If you buy more than one camera, each camera needs its own active Care+ plan to be covered.
Cancellation
You can cancel Camera Care+ anytime.
After cancellation, no future monthly Care+ charges will be made. Claims can only be made while your Camera Care+ plan is active.
Monthly charges already paid are not refunded unless required by law or unless we approve a refund as part of a camera return.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Your standard 30-day money-back guarantee still applies to your camera purchase.
If you return your camera within the 30-day return period and no Camera Care+ claim has been made, contact us and we can cancel Camera Care+ for that order.
How To Make A Claim
To make a Camera Care+ claim, contact us at:
Please include:
- Your order number
- The email address used on the order
- A short description of the issue
- Clear photos or video showing the problem
- Any troubleshooting steps you have already tried
What Happens After You Make A Claim
We may ask you to complete basic troubleshooting first.
If your claim is approved, we may repair the issue, replace the failed part, or provide a replacement product or equivalent solution.
If we ask you to return a faulty part or product, we will provide return instructions.
Camera Care+ claim decisions are based on these terms, the condition of the product, and the information provided with your claim.
Claim Limits
Camera Care+ is intended for genuine product failures from normal use.
We may refuse claims that appear to involve misuse, repeated abuse, false information, or use outside these terms.
Transfer
Camera Care+ applies to the original order and covered camera kit. It cannot be transferred to another product or customer unless we approve it in writing.
Camera Care+ gives you extra benefits in addition to any rights you already have under consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes, or replaces those rights.
